Rewilding is a poem I wrote about a personal loss, coupled with the imagery of reclamation.
All photography was taken in Pungo County, Virginia, where I spent most of my childhood growing up on a small ranch. Pungo’s rustic country and numerous abandoned church houses inspired me to write about the beauty of regrowth and becoming whole again.
